With the bottom cover off, push on one of the two ends and slide out the little "drawer" that holds the stamp plate and ink cartridge. Drip a few drops of Maxlight Ink into the slot on top. Don't use too much ink and wait a couple of hours while the ink distributes itself throughout the cartridge.

Remove the burgundy handle (pull hard, it may not come off easily the first time) and using Maxlight Ink, drip a few drops of the ink into each of the two side holes. Then replace the handle. Set the stamp aside for a couple of hours to give the ink time to distribute throughout the stamp face.
